Marymount "Walk for Wellness" Walkathon 2024

The Centenary Preparatory Committee presents its second Centenary Celebratory Event, “Walk for Wellness”, a walkathon open to our worldwide community, our alumnae and their families, our retired and current principals, our retired and present teachers, our past and present PTA members and all our current MSS and MPS students. Please join this meaningful event locally and from around the world as we team up to raise funds for our schools to continue our legacy of nurturing future leaders with positive values to serve, share, and spread love. We are proud of the contributions we have made in different ways to the communities around the world. Let us go out together, share a smile, and take part in "Walk For Wellness" as we thank the Lord for His beautiful creations while encouraging healthy living.

Details of "Walk for Wellness"​

  • When:  April 28 - May 12, 2024

  • Where:  Anywhere convenient and safe

  • What: It is a fundraising event for MPS and MSS. You can make an initial donation and/or gather sponsors for your walk. Put on any of your MPS/MSS outfits, pick up your "Walk for Wellness" head and wristbands, caps and take photos as you walk, and tag us on our social media.​

  • Why: This is our very first fundraising event leading to Marymount's 100th anniversary. The funds will help enable our schools to maintain, upgrade and enhance facilities in our beautiful campuses for our students and future generations. 

  • How to join: Please register below and you will receive free souvenirs. You can join as an individual or as a team of up to 12 people.  Exciting awards (details below) for the highest amount raised in each category include free Centenary Gala Dinner tickets, MPS/MSS exclusive souvenir collection etc. 

For non-students: Alumna, staff, PTA and affiliates of the Marymount community

Donations and Sponsorships

​We welcome payment via cheque, FPS or Paypal. For cheque payment, please make a crossed cheque payable to "M.S.S Alumnae Association Educational Trust", and mail to 123 Blue Pool Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong.  For FPS, please use FPS phone number: 92428502.  For non-students, please register using the 'non-students' form and submit payment via the form.  Any sponsorships gathered post registration, please submit via Sponsorship form.

    • The highest funds raised (Total sponsorship: Initial donation + sponsorship of no less than >HK$10,000): 2 Complimentary 2027 Centenary Gala Dinner tickets

    • The second highest funds raised (Total sponsorship: Initial donation + sponsorship of no less than >HK$5,000): A full collection of Centenary souvenirs (to be collected at the 2027 Centenary Gala Dinner)

  • [Team Entry Category]

    • The highest funds raised (Total sponsorship: Initial donation + sponsorship of no less than >$100,000): Complimentary 2027 Centenary Gala Dinner table for 12 persons

    • The second highest funds raised (Total sponsorship: Initial donation + sponsorship of no less than >HK$50,000): 6 Complimentary 2027 Centenary Gala Dinner tickets

  • Best Team Spirit (e.g. costumes, photos, use of props etc):

    • Our appointed judges will select the best 20 photos which will be uploaded to MSSAA website, social media and displayed at our Centenary Gala Dinner.  Each member in the best 20 photos may choose any 3 Centenary souvenirs on a complimentary basis (to be presented or collected from the MSS/MPS office before the 2027 Gala Dinner)

  • All eligible participants will receive a Commemorative Walk for Wellness Certificate​

 

To get started, please register for yourself or your team now! Each participant (including every family member) will need to submit a separate sponsors’ list below with sponsorship amounts by 11:59 pm on May 12, 2024. ​
